About Us

Don Wood started Northside Property Inspections in 2002 after having worked in the property inspection profession since 1995.  Northside Property Inspections was formed to specialise in providing pre-purchase building and pest inspections reports.

Don has worked in the building industry for the past 36 years as a qualified builder and carpenter and has a current NSW Builders Licence, a Certificate in Urban Pest Control and is Comprehensively Insured.

Don has many years experience as a Building Consultant, having inspected numerous buildings in the Sydney metropolitan area, Central Coast and Blue Mountains over the past 17 years.

Northside Property Inspections aims to provide a quality service along with well composed reports that are easy to read and understand.  We are more than happy to consult verbally with our clients on any building issues noted in the report.

Northside Property Inspections strives to maintain the highest possible standard of professionalism, ethics, honesty, integrity and knowledge.  Don is committed to continuing education and has sat on the Executive Committee of the Institute of Building Consultants.
